Through our relationships with our artisans and their communities, we are building a brand that is both sustainable and ethical. Our Kapu baskets are crafted with care and are designed to be treasured for a lifetime. Using sustainable plant-based materials of Palm leaves and Kertak, the weaving process creates zero waste.

Gender Equality

Zan Artefacts aims to empower all women and girls facing discrimination throughout Iran. Further development is needed to strive towards gender equality where 'persistent social, economic and political inequalities' exist.

It is important to us that the artisans we work with recognise their value and importance in their community - and the world. Equality and inclusivity are constant goals.

Zan Artefacts is passionate about craftsmanship and celebrates community creating productive employment throughout Iran. We are proud of the artisans we work with, some of whom who are among the first in their village to have an opportunity to work, earn a living using a respected skillset and give back to their families and community.
