Each is topped with an exquisite star shaped weave, finished with our signature playful pom pom and perfectly proportioned to store anything from sewing kits to toys and treasures. Whether used as decoration or for storage, these handwoven basket sets are high impact and crafted with love to cherish for a lifetime. Made in Persia using date palm leaves and kertak.

We are proud of the artisans we work with, some of whom who are among the first in their village to have an opportunity to work, earn a living using a respected skillset and give back to their families and community.
Zan Artefacts is committed to equality and was founded to offer a means of support to women throughout Iran where their rights have been restricted since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Working with Zan offers our female artisans a sense of freedom, security and financial independence. We partner directly with our talented craftswomen and have formed secure relationships with them to ensure that they are paid fairly and safely without going through husbands or fathers.
