Nini Round Basket

£15.00
+

The extra small handwoven Nini is the sweetest basket to keep the tiniest of treasures safe and makes a wonderful introduction to the art of Kapu. Our decorative baskets radiate the rich spirit of the women of Iran; that of life, passion and tradition. Created in bright, cheerful colours that reflect the emotion of the artisan who created it, every piece tells its own story. Chevron, diamond patterns are woven into each basket and our signature pom pom topped lid is a playful touch.

The Nini is the Baby of the collection. Crafted with love by female artisans in Persia using date palm leaves and kertak.

  • Made from Date Palm Leaves or Kertak
  • Approximate dimensions: 6cm x 4cm

Zan Artefacts is passionate about craftsmanship and celebrates community creating productive employment throughout Iran. We are proud of the artisans we work with, some of whom who are among the first in their village to have an opportunity to work, earn a living using a respected skillset and give back to their families and community.
